(ONLINE) Sanam Saeed, a well-known Pakistani diva, expressed her dissatisfaction with the lack of promotional activities for her film Ishrat Made in China at the Nueplex theatres in Karachi’s Rashid Minhas outlet.

Local films, according to Sanam, required more of a push than Hollywood superhero blockbusters.

“A little upset at Nueplex cinemas for not putting up any of our film posters, especially on Rashid Minhas Road,” the Zindagi Gulzar Hai actress said on Twitter, naming Jamil Baig’s production business.

Superhero movies will always draw crowds. They have a lengthy and illustrious history. Cinemas in Pakistan must encourage Pakistani films. Please take care of it, JB Films.”
