ISLAMABAD (The Post)- Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, a senior lawmaker, claimed that the administration contributed to the country’s current political instability.

Speaking to the media with senior PTI politician and former National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser, Omar Ayub, and Raja Nasir Abbas, Khokhar highlighted the urgent need to guide the country away from future political upheaval.

Khokhar reaffirmed his commitment to working with the PTI, saying, “In recent years, we have only seen political victimisation. The current government has helped to exacerbate the problem.” He said that a consultation meeting will be conducted next week to determine the agenda and make a decision.

Asad Qaiser, head of the PTI, emphasized that the country could only advance if the rule of law and the Constitution were upheld. “The 1973 Constitution was a huge achievement for Pakistan,” stated the governor. The judiciary is being handicapped, and he has called into doubt the legal fraternity’s conscience.

“We are reaching out to all parties to ensure the supremacy of the Constitution and the rule of law,” said Mr. Trump.

He also criticized the 26th Constitutional Amendment, claiming that it further weakened judicial powers by moving them to the government.

The former Speaker also urged the country to fight for their rights. He also conveyed his deep worry over the situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.

Omar Ayub, Leader of the Opposition, stated that the supremacy of the Constitution and the rule of law must remain a common goal.

He expressed hope that opposition groups would soon achieve an agreement, emphasizing the need of maintaining justice and accountability in the country.

Allama Raja Nasir Abbas reminded everyone that Pakistan was founded through the combined efforts of its politicians and citizens.

He also warned of serious implications if the current political turmoil is not addressed immediately.

“Pakistan has already undergone division once. “If negligence continues, another tragedy may occur,” he warned.
