LAHORE (Web Desk) – Former Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir has responded to talk over his prospective involvement in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

During a Champions Trophy broadcast on a private TV station, the host inquired whether Amir intended to play in the IPL after obtaining a British passport. Amir replied: “If I get the opportunity to play in the IPL next year, I will definitely go for it.”

When asked about anticipated criticism in Pakistan for his IPL involvement, Amir replied, “I have retired from international cricket.”

He responded to concerns by stating that, while Pakistani cricketers were barred from participating in the IPL, some former players worked as analysts and franchise coaches in the league.
