LOS ANGELES (The Post) – A top Pakistani official was denied admission to the United States after arriving on a private visit.

According to diplomatic sources, a Pakistani ambassador was denied entrance by US immigration officers upon arrival at Los Angeles International Airport, while no official comment has been released by the US State Department or the Department of Homeland Security.

According to sources, the decision to refuse Pakistani diplomats entry into the United States has nothing to do with diplomatic policy or an existing dispute. It is thought that an accusation of administrative corruption from his prior job in the United States affected the decision.

According to sources, the senior diplomat is presently working as Pakistan’s ambassador in a Central Asian country. However, Pakistan’s Foreign Office has yet to publish an official comment in this respect.
