Balochistan’s ACS (Home) Hamza Shafqat revealed that 202 troops of the security forces were slain in these operations, while 280 civilians also died.

QUETTA (The Post Pakistan)- 707 terrorists were killed in 78,000 Intelligence-Based Operations (IBOs) carried out in Balochistan in 2025.

Balochistan’s Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) Home, Hamza Shafqat, made the statement during a news conference in Quetta on Sunday.

He went on to say that 202 security officers were killed during these operations, as well as 280 civilians.

He said that three terrorists were apprehended during an operation in Kharan.

Attacks on security personnel have decreased compared to the previous year, owing to enhanced strategy and operational preparation, he stated.

The ACS (Home) said that terrorists have increasingly begun to attack people.

He called the United States’ identification of the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) as a terrorist group the year’s most significant achievement.

He went on to say that Interpol will take action against people engaging in terrorist operations against Pakistan while operating from overseas.
