LAHORE (Web Desk) – Saturday marks the sixteenth anniversary of the death of iconic cinema actor Muhammad Ali.

Muhammad Ali’s family moved from India to Karachi following the partition in 1947, when he was born on April 1st, 1931. In 1956, he began his professional career as a broadcaster with Radio Pakistan Hyderabad.

Muhammad Ali appeared in over 250 films and was named one of CNN’s top 25 Asian actors.

Pride of Performance, Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, Bolan Award, Noshad Award in India, Al Nasar Award in Dubai, Pakistan Academy Award, and Nigar Award were among the honours bestowed upon the great actor.
