Maude Apatow, who portrays Lexi Howard in the critically acclaimed musical Euphoria, admits to removing a tooth to play a part.
During a talk show hosted by comedian Seth Myers, the 24-year-old opened up about the event. He showed a videotape of the actor playing a role in a play based on her own life.
He added that the Euphoria star enjoyed working in theatre, to which she responded positively. The performer stated that she had discussed it with the film’s director, Sam Levinson.
In the interview, Maude Apatow remarked, “Sam and I had a lot of chats about it beforehand, and it was roughly based on me as a theatrical child.” “I began when I was quite little.” I recall that I, too, always went all out.”
To get into character, the daughter of comedian Judd Rudd and actor Leslie Mann says she broke a tooth.
“I dressed up as a miner for a Gold Rush day, so I took out my teeth.” It wasn’t even a loose tooth! “I simply took it out since it wasn’t ready to go,” she explained.
Maude Apatow went on to say that her parents were perplexed and believed they had raised a monster.
