The West Indies have recalled bowling all-rounder Keemo Paul as part of their 15-man team for the ICC One-Day International World Cup Qualifier, which will take place in Zimbabwe from June 18 to July 9.
Paul, who last played an ODI in July of last year, was picked to the team alongside left-arm spinner Gudakesh Motie, who impressed during the West Indies Test visit earlier this year in Zimbabwe.
“Paul is a three-dimensional player who can bowl the new ball effectively, outfield dynamically, and make crucial runs.” Desmond Haynes, the chief West Indies selector, stated
“We see him as a potential match-winner for us.”
