India enhanced their Women’s Cricket World Cup semi-final chances with a crushing 110-run win over Bangladesh on Tuesday, while Australia skipper Meg Lanning scored a century to lead the tournament favourites to a five-wicket win over South Africa.

In Hamilton, India set Bangladesh a target of 230 and then skittled them for 119 in 40.3 overs to keep their playoff chances alive.

In the previous match on Tuesday, Lanning hit an unbroken 135 as Australia cruised over South Africa’s 271-5 in Wellington.

It puts previously unbeaten South Africa in a fight with India, the West Indies, and England for the remaining three semi-final spots. Australia has already advanced to the final four.
