The ICC Team of the Year will be captained by Babar Azam. DUBAI: The ICC Team of the Year 2021 includes three Pakistani players: Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Afridi.

The lineup was revealed today by the International Cricket Council (ICC), with Babar Azam named captain. There was no Indian player that made the cut.

Jos Buttler and Mohammad Rizwan of England were named as opening batsmen, while Shaheen Afridi was named as a specialist spinner by the ICC.
