DUBAI: Pakistan’s skipper Babar Azam has risen to fifth place in the new International Cricket Council (ICC) Test hitters’ rankings, released here on Wednesday, following his remarkable performance in the ongoing home series against Australia.
The ICC has rewarded Babar, who has had a solid series with the bat so far, by placing the right-handed hitter in fifth place in the newly revised Test batters’ list.
The right-handed hitter has jumped three places to sixth after his spectacular 196-run innings against Australia in the Karachi Test.
