LAHORE: Ramiz Raja, chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), lauded the national team for winning a Test against Bangladesh on a shifting field.
Ramiz took to Twitter to congratulate Babar Azam XI on their eight-wicket triumph over Bangladesh in their own home.
“Congratulations, boys!” Chasing 200 on a twisting pitch was a task in and of itself. It’s fantastic that the pursuit was handled flawlessly. “Winning away from home is always more memorable,” he added.
It should be highlighted that Pakistani openers Abid Ali and Abdullah Shafique put on a great batting performance as Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by eight wickets in the first Test of the two-match ICC Test Championship series.
