Marcus Harris, the Ashes opener, was withdrawn from Australia’s otherwise stable lineup for the two-Test tour of Sri Lanka in June and July.

In the Pat Cummins-led 16-man roster for the world’s top-ranked Test team, Scott Boland stays the back-up seamer ahead of Jhye Richardson.

They are among of a 34-man team picked for the all-format trip, which also includes three Twenty20 matches and five one-day internationals.

Cummins will not participate in the Twenty20 matches, and spinner Adam Zampa will be out for the whole trip owing to the upcoming birth of his first child.
